Jameson Cooper's Croze whiskey (from the Whiskey Makers Series) is an Irish whiskey that celebrates the art of our Chief cooper, Ger Buckley. Ger Buckley honours his mastery in selecting, repairing and maintaining the valuable hulls in our Midleton distillery and the tools he uses to do so.
Vol: 40% TEST NOTE AROMA Jameson Makers Series Coopers Croze presents a subtle scent of flower petals, evolving into a rich taste of ripe fruit, while some cedar and charred oak wood gives balance and complexity - a perfect infusion of the character of American and Spanish oak.
TASTE The initial impression comes from the sweet vanilla of ancient American bourbon barrels. This gives an additional depth to rich fruit, typical of the old sherry barrels. A pleasant touch of hazelnut and toasted wood complements the spices of the alembic.
END OF BOCA Pleasantly long lasting, with the sweetness of vanilla slowly fading to barley grains and a touch of charred oak.
