All wine lovers know how delicious it is to accompany a good conversation with friends with a good glass of red wine, right?
But we can use wine to add variety and enjoy it in other ways. One of these ways is to make it a refreshing ice cream.
It is not a complicated recipe to make and, on the other hand, the result is a delicious dessert (which is certainly not suitable for children, but adults will certainly appreciate it)!
Homemade red wine ice cream
What do you need?
- 700 ml of red wine
- 1 bag of frozen red fruits (350 to 500 g)
- 150 g of sugar
- 5 fresh basil leaves
How to do it? - In a blender, add the fruits, sugar, wine and basil in that order and mix. - Empty the contents into a glass refractory and cover it with clear plastic. - Place in the freezer overnight or leave it for about 8 hours and serve. - If you wish, you can decorate your ice cream with some basil leaves.
In these times when we need to stay at home due to social isolation, nothing better than enjoying the taste of wine in the form of ice cream, isn't it?
