Wine made from Vinhão (Sousão, in the Douro), comes from Arcos de Valdevez and is launched very early on the market, to accompany the beauty of Lampreia. Of course, the wine's remarkable acidity goes very well with the fagot, but in the summer, accompanying grills and other dishes, it goes very well. Full of fruit notes, a somewhat vegetal finish and "that of painting the malga", characterize this wine by Dr. Simão Pedro de Aguiã, a classic. I like it very much and the wine shone with an Angus steak on the spot, with fried potatoes and a salad. It costs about five euros and deserves proof! Revista de Vinhos: Lots of color, intense aroma, young and vinous, macerated berries, light powder. Very full-bodied, very clean and alive wild fruit, perfectly integrated tannins and acidity, an exceptional red green. (13%)
