Douro Crasto Colheita wine is a red wine made from grapes, from previously selected plots, transported in 25 kg food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar, before being destemmed and crushed and transferred to stainless steel fermentation vats where they fermented at a controlled temperature for a period of 5 to 7 days. Aging: 95% in stainless steel vats. 5% in French oak barrels.

Tasting Note:
Color: Intense violet.

Nose: Excellent aromatic intensity of fresh wild fruits well integrated with soft floral notes.

Mouth: Harmonious, with the right volume, round tannins that give it a structure in perfect balance. Very rich in notes of fresh wild fruits that contribute to a compact, elegant and good persistence.

Quinta do Crasto

Located in the heart of the Douro River valley, on its right bank, between Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto has been owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century.

With an area of 130 hectares, of which 70 are occupied by vineyards predominantly oriented to the south, it extends from the riverbed to about 600 meters in altitude.

At Quinta do Crasto, several categories of Table Wines and Port Wines are produced annually. With the dedication and effort of the winemakers and all who are part of our team, we try year after year to produce wines with the typical characteristics of the Douro, in a process of great respect for tradition and, simultaneously, of permanent learning, improvement and innovation.
