Graham's Extra Dry
Founded in 1820, Graham’s has two of the best properties in the Douro valley: Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta do Tua, which produce wines of exceptional quality with great structure, richness and complexity. Graham's is an independent company, 100% owned by the Symington family, producers of Port Wine since the 19th century and whose ancestors were the origin of the first exports from Porto in 1652. Graham's is recognized as one of the leading producers in Porto Vintage; his 2007 Vintage achieved 97 points (out of 100 possible), attributed by Robert Parker, the most accredited wine critic in the world who wrote, "The wine candidate of the year ... an extraordinary achievement." Currently, it is at the forefront of oenological innovation, as the name suggests, this style of Porto is particularly dry, since a large part of its natural sugar is fermented and produced with white grape varieties, especially Malvasia Fina, which gives the wine aromas fruity and great freshness. Austere and lively. Light and abundant aroma of nuts and some pear. Very dry in the mouth with austerity at the end. Fresh nutty quality with a little light fruit. A good aperitif, although not for large quantities consumption.
