Winemaking:
Quinta do Vallado Rosé is made from Touriga Nacional from the highest point of Quinta do Vallado, leading to a low percentage of alcohol and great acidity. It was prepared with the traditional method called "Bica Aberta" and has typical aromas of roses and wild berries, a characteristic of Touriga Nacional. The Touriga Nacional grapes were fermented through the "Bica Aberta" process. Fermentation lasted a month, with temperatures varying between 14º and 16º. Aged for 5 months in stainless steel vats.
